Become a Pet Foster Caregiver

The most important way you can help is to become a Pet Foster Caregiver (PFC). Without PFCs we have no way to take in rescued and homeless pets. The more PFC's we have, the more lives we save.

There are times when we have no choice but to turn away animals because we have no place to house pets until we find them a new loving home. This is so painful for us because then the pet's future is usually bleak or unknown.

We ask you TO TRY fostering. Whether you foster one pet a year or a dozen, you would be helping saving a life or lives out of so many that have no hope or future. It is the greatest way for you to help and show you care. The dream of HOMAR is to never have to turn away an animal in need. If you have room in your heart and home, you can help us make that dream come true.

Donations - Pet Supplies, Monetary and Other!

We at HOMAR see the value of any kind of donation no matter how big or how small. Monetary donations are desired above all else because it is the monetary donations that mainly go towards the emergency and general medical expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, de-flea/de-worming) and care of the animals.

But every donation is deeply appreciated. Pet supplies and pet necessities are always needed. These items help our pet foster families or low-income pet owners care for the pets. Pet services can be donated to help in the rehabilitation and training of the pets. Craft materials, new items and products to sell or use as prizes in raffles and at fundraising events...anything will be used and greatly appreciated.

Volunteer Time and Skills

Do you sew like the wind and can crank out a pet toy in seconds. Are you crafty and love making items to sell? Are you stuck at home with nothing to do and want to help with some of our fundraisers? Are you a leader of a group who wants to organize a fundraising project for a good cause? Do you have a talent for planning events and fundraisers? Do you like educating children and teaching? Are you excellent at office administration?

Do you love animals and always wanted to help in some way? Well! WE NEED YOU! Please submit a Volunteer Form to tell us how you want to help. You will be under no obligation and you will not be pressured. After we stop jumping up and down for joy, we will contact you.
